Curry Mallet Church of England VC Primary School
Teaching & Learning
Our values, the curriculum, safety within our school and assessments
We aim to provide a stimulating, safe and happy environment where all children can develop their full potential.
We endeavour to give our children a variety of wide experiences and challenges which will instil a love of learning. We encourage independence and problem solving, skills which will prepare them for the next stage of their education and beyond. The family atmosphere of our village school allows us to know each child very well and we aim to give them a sense of belonging as well as valuable experience of being part of a community. As a Church School, we have good links with All Saints Church in the village, with the vicar and the church youth worker being regular visitors to our school.
We believe that academic success and creativity go hand in hand, so at all times resources and environment are used to enhance the learning experience. Creativity is embedded in the curriculum which enables the children to relate learning to every day experiences.
We are a strong team committed to provide all our children with high quality first hand experiences which make them into enthusiastic, independent resourceful learners. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We are committed to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all children at Curry Mallet Church of England VC School and expect everyone to share this commitment.
If your child or any member of your household test positive over half term please email the school office on [email protected] to inform us as soon as is reasonably possible.
